Gondor army build suitable for multiplayer. Best paired with a deck that can facilitate card draw, healing, and forest snare.
Typically mulligan for Steward of Gondor though a starting hand with (first turn) playable allies, and A Very Good Tale can also be desirable. Once you can get a bunch of allies this deck can handle combat really well. Strength of Arms will help you get the most out of your allies. DĂșnedain Warning could be added to improve the defensive capabilities of AmarthiĂșl. Similarly Gondorian Fire could be dropped if you find the attack bonus excessive.

Apr 04, 2016Halbarad is perhaps a victim of vision and theme here. Although because you keep enemies around he does gain his action advantage plus I love his ability to pull two enemies during the encounter phase (Something I often miss when I don't play Halbarad). That said I do think that Balin and King Under the Mountain would improve this deck. Perhaps I'll make an update to it :) |
Very good deck. Good idea to include Amarthuil into the Boromir's army. I have a similar deck with Theodred and Balin instead the Dunedains. I don't see too much useful Halbarad here, but, as i said, Amrathuil work very good, and it brings the tactics sphere. Not bad.
