I've been very keen to make a trap deck for solo play, but always found it difficult. I feel that Strider has made a lot of deck types now possible for solo play, and this was my attempt at a low threat trap deck for true solo. Unsurprisingly, this deck won't perform well against all quests (the curse of all trap decks), but for those quests that are susceptible to traps, it worked pretty well.

I'll keep this short and sweet - you must get Strider in your opening hand. A copy of Resourceful on Damrod is important as well, as this deck relies on a number of three cost lore allies. An early Master of the Forge is worth its weight in gold as well, as it will give you an ability to get your traps out of your deck, and once the traps starting attaching to allies you will start drawing cards (thanks to Damrod's ability).

I tried a number of hero combinations but eventually settled on Beregond to provide that much needed defence against enemies that sneak through your low threat, but also to help keep your threat in check, and give you access to further threat reduction and treachery cancellation.

I've certainly seen better trap decks out there, but this was my attempt, combining with the two-hero archetype that I'm finding is a lot of fun in true solo.
