The expectation is that this deck generates 4 resources a turn, giving plenty of resources to be able to play 2-3 cards per turn. Most of the allies should be able to be played on any given turn you draw them, but if you were forced to discard an ally you really wanted, Stand and Fight (or Silver Harp) should allow you to play them soon.
Light of Valinor (which all 3 heroes are eligible for) dovetails nicely with Silver Lamb and A Burning Brand, allowing for a lot of questing while still being able to manage enemy that comes your way.
The deck does have 8 blanks for Vilya with Stand and Fight, A Test of Will, and Hasty Stroke. But having the ability to cancel devastating cards from the encounter deck is too powerful for me to pass up in this deck. Maybe Stand and Fight should be replaced with two allies to reduce this issue, especially with Will of the West. Thoughts?
Lastly, while Erestor's ability speeds this deck up, being forced to discard a key card is always a danger. Hopefully Silver Harp can mitigate that issue.

Jan 12, 2017The issue is Círdan the Shipwright doesn't work. He has you draw two and discard one, which nets to only one card. So if you discard to Arwen, you have 0 card draw that round. I was using Erestor to guarantee Arwen's ability every turn. Now, I could replace Elrond with Éowyn, but I feel this would lose out on the ability to easily play more effective allies. Maybe I could do that and concentrate on hero boost instead of a strong ally focus. Lords of the Eldar is a nice card, but it costs 3, and I don't have my allies optimized for it. |
Jan 12, 2017Ah yes, forgot about that. |
You could always use Cirdan instead of Erestor. While he is not quite as efficient, he still speeds the deck up and you don't have to worry about losing a ton of cards. If you did that, you could cut Will of the West and put in Lords of the Eldar.
