This deck is a 4 color deck for true solo play. I wanted a deck that could use all the power cards from all 4 spheres. I was able to accomplish this using Amarthiúl which is both a duel sphere hero and also has built in resource acceleration. Put Steward of Gondor on him for even more resources.

This is an ally heavy deck. The starting threat 25 which is manageable and honestly you want to engage an enemy on the first round and keep it there most of the game.

The second hero is Merry who gives unlimited threat reduction and a low starting threat. The last hero's is Galdor of the Havens which gives you a better opening hand and one huge card draw. You want to trigger this card draw in the first 3 turns (first turn is best). If your hand is clogged with high cost allies, use Elven Jeweler or Protector of Lórien to discard them to be able to trigger the 6 card draw.

Mulligan individually for Sneak Attack + Glorfindel + Ranger of Cardolan + A Very Good Tale combo and use as soon as possible to accelerate the board state, get some early big allies out in the opener and empty your hand. You have so many great targets for a first round A Very Good Tale and uniques are mostly one-of so you will not be blocked from playing them.

The best target for a first turn Sneak Attack is Glorfindel. He combos so well A Very Good Tale and with the opening strategy to discard down to be able to trigger the 6 card draw. Dealing with shadows will the biggest issue, but with so many strong allies, it shouldn’t be too difficult.
