This deck is trying to be extra offensive, especially at game start.
Beorn buys some time in order for Elrond and Gandalf to bring in play their rings, and the obvious combo of Vilya and Gandalf takes place.
The main problem with this deck is the initial threat, which I (at first) tried to pair with some interesting valour effects, to no great effect. I finally settled for lowering the threat with The Fall of Gil-Galad, buying time with Favor of the Valar. An interesting fact is that there are a plenty of quests where high initial threat becomes an advantage (engaging high threat enemies that cannot be optionally engaged and killing them on the same turn breaks some scenarios for sure)
It soon became obvious that this should be an eagle deck, especially while Support of the Eagles can be attached to Gandalf when played from the top of the deck.
The main difficulty I encounter while managing the deck is that unless Narya enters play there is no icon unless using gandalf's ability. When drawing the starting hand I generally want to see 2/4 of Vilya, Narya, Wizard Pipe and Gandalf's Staff.
I finally discovered that this deck is very versatile and has many hidden combos, especially when played in 2p games, where the other player can also buy you some time.
