Warden of Arnor 5911
A combat deck focused around a selection of powerful Warrior allies. Every ally in the deck has the Warrior trait and is thus a valid target for Prince Imrahil to pop in. You should be able to play a few of the allies regularly as well with Steward of Gondor on Amarthiúl (keep an enemy engaged so he has that icon). Having played the allies, power them up with Raiment of War, which is a great attachment for a defensive/flexible combat ally. Between Raiment and Narya your allies can end up with 4-5 and and use both of them in the same combat phase. Like any tri-sphere deck this may take a little while to get going, but once established it can do some pretty impressive stuff, and is no less fun for being relatively straightforward.

Oct 31, 2017I'd be curious as to how differently it plays out with Gandalfrather than Cirdan. I love Cirdan, but thematically his inclusion here bugs me a little. I can more easily see Gandalf hanging around here and he can still use Narya, but also make good use of a Wizard Pipe or Gandalf's Staff Plus Cirdan will be indisposed in my Noldor/Erestor deck! :P |
There are enough good warrior allies now in the game to build such an awesome deck. Can't wait to try it!
