This deck is part of a two-deck Fellowship used to play Journey in the Dark for the Cardboard of the Rings Quest of the Week.
The Fellowship description contains details of the quest playthrough and campaign mode information.
This quest recreates the Fellowship's journey through the dangers of the Dwarf realm of Khazad-dûm. The most famous of these is of course Durin's Bane himself - the Balrog. Much of the strategy of this quest is about how this near unbeatable enemy will be handled.
As a campaign deck, the hero choices were largely already made. For this quest the duo of Pippin and Sam Gamgee were joined by the Messenger of the King Firyal. She was chosen to steer the Fellowship round the worst of the encounter deck, which was very welcome in this quest.
Otherwise the deck is largely focused on questing, along with some support in the form ofcards like Elrond, Warden of Healing, Deep Knowledge, Gildor's Counsel, and Man the Walls.
