Finally beat the Dunland Trap with this deck (admittedly with fantastic card draw from both the encounter deck and our decks). Played with a Aragorn, Celeborn, Éowyn deck, which provided plenty of willpower and three copies of Keys of Orthanc, plus Legacy of Númenor which proved handy getting our initial hands in play.
The deck itself is unashamedly focused on hitting things - Gimli may have been a better bet than Éomer purely for his extra HP, since running out of chump blockers before the end of the quest is a given. Getting a selection of allies out quickly is pretty essential, and all the events are focused on surviving attacks. The attachment selection leaves something to be desired; Protector of Lórien is fantastic when you have cards, which can be an issue later in the quest. Rohan Warhorse should go on Éomer during the second and third stages, as Legolas's ability isn't as handy. Having a sentinel defender (Aragorn) in the team is excellent to avoid having to defend - send him a Self Preservation if you can find it.
