I really like pipes.
The Necklace of Girion starts on the Bilbo Baggins as the Messenger of the King hero. I like keeping the threat low, and get a pile of resources on Bilbo, so when I need to bring Saruman into play, and throw a Wizard Pipe on him, I can have a big payoff from Old Toby or Smoke Rings. The side quests help get Thalionto be a hero, to also pay for things. I really like having Bard son of Brand able to get some pipes back into hand when the Gaffer Gamgee leaves play. I've thrown Curious Brandybuck in there as an option to have a pipe or two, and also I liked having another 2-cost something to discard for the The Riddle-game contract. I guess I could use Reforged somehow too. Hope someone enjoys!
