A thematic Ent deck with our favorite Hobbit arborists!
Low threat and decent questing out of the gate allow time to flip the contract. Mulligan for Seasoned Forager, though if you don't get it then Drinking Song can usually help find it. Quickbeam and Lamenter of the Lost are great first-turn plays, to have a ready ally in the case of an unexpected enemy engagement (Fear! Fire! Foes! can also be kept in reserve for that reason). I usually use the flip to play Treebeard and Wellinghall Preserver, though I like to search for both copies of Friend of Friends, which is just fun. Note that Bree Pony and Ent Draught are there to make Merry and Pippin less squishy. Other than that, it's a standard Ent deck. Enjoy!
Note: I beat the entirety of the Heirs of Numenor cycle with this deck, apart from Siege of Cair Andros (starting with siege questing is too difficult for this deck).
