This deck was built to go alongside my Trapped deck. The title comes from the time in Return of the King when Merry is riding with the Rohirrim, alongside Éowyn. Elfhelm trips over him and curses the tree-roots. Merry responds by saying "I am not a tree-root sir, nor am I a bag, but a bruised Hobbit!" This deck hopes to avoid the Bruised Hobbit part by staying in secrecy. Merry keeps threat low, while Pippin keeps engagement costs high. If engagement is necessary, (MotK) Rosie Cotton helps boost of whoever must become our "Bruised Hobbit." Hopefully, we can remain Tree-roots.

Also, I plan on making a thematic deck with this same name, but for now enjoy this one.

dunno how far u want to stretch theme, but if, then Thorongil for merry wouldbe a good addition. and even without going ut of theme, Gandalf

I am slightly opposed to putting Gandalf in every deck, and this deck has great threat reduction without him. It could use the card draw though.
