Discard Pile

Inspired by my most recent readthrough of The Silmarillion and beginning to read Unfinished Tales, I built this Bond of Friendship deck centred around the natural affinity for discarded things between Dwarf and Noldor. Lay of the Nauglamír is one of my all time favourite cards in the game and can kickstart your engine (and is a lovely thematic throwback to when times were ... maybe not simpler, but certainly wilder). Mid-late it might not be a great play as most of your 2-cost allies should be out on the board already, but can be worth it if you're still digging for your Zigil Miner, Stargazer or Master of the Forge. Wandering Spirit may not be the strongest here (with very few targets) but it's fun and allows you to mess with the top card of your discard pile if you want for Gaeronel. She gets Light of Valinor, Thorin Stonehelm gets the weapons and Dáin Ironfoot gets all the other attachments. I've never found much use for Galdor of the Havens but here he can give a big boost mid-game when you may otherwise stall out without King Under the Mountain, Elven-light etc. Keep track of your one copy of Will of the West and reshuffle it with Ered Nimrais Prospector if you accidentally mine it.
A really fun deck to pilot. Let me know if you give it a crack!
