Vilya to Elrond and Light of Valinor to Glorfindel are the keys - Arwen Undómiel feeding resources and cards via Elven-light is a nice supplement. The most clutch Ally for Elrond is the Imladris Stargazer. Once in combination, Vilya, Stargazer and Unexpected Courage allow you to control the board state (at little to no resource cost) and keep Elrond ready to dominate any arena. If you can stack Unexpected Courage on Elrond, BONUS.
The allies accumulate in a sneaky fashion... Elladan and Elrohir in there for familial spice!
