Denethor's Vision is all about anticipating the encounter deck. Anything that is inconvenient can be gotten rid of by Eleanor or Denethor. Denethor is also the main defender. Éowyn is the quester as usual. She cannot be the prisoner in the final quest of the core set. You can't really make progress fast enough otherwise.

While the Denethor deck controls what comes off the encounter deck, the Dunhere deck takes out enemies that you can handle. Thalin softens up the enemies. Legolas and Dúnhere kill them. Dunhere sometimes does not have a chance to strike into the staging area as in some quests your threat gets too high for enemies to stay there. A Light in the Dark can help with that, but in my playthroughs it did not come up very often. Divide your attachments between Legolas and Dunhere. Dunhere really benefits from at least 1 Dwarven Axe for the guaranteed strength boost. For Legolas at least 1 Blade of Gondolin is usually enough for him to do a lot of work and make some extra progress. Especially with Unexpected Courage both heroes can do a lot of damage.
