As a primarily solo player, I have always loved the Harad archetype. The Haradrim cycle was the first cycle that I had completely purchased and I was able to beat all of the quests in that cycle with a Harad deck. The Harad arechytpe works great with solo play because you have a optimized quester, attacker, and defender already built into the deck. With the release of The Grey Wanderer I immediately thought Kahliel would be good candidate. This is my first attempt and the deck seems to run pretty well.

Obviously you want to fetch Strider at the beginning so that you can quest. You will be able to ready Kahliel many times between his own ability and the grey wanderer contract card. The main idea is to get your Harad allies out and try to play your key secrecy cards like Timely Aid and Resourceful early on. Once you get above 20, you can use Gandalf to potentially drop back down into secrecy. The most important card in this deck is Steward of Gondor. This will obviously boost your resource production, but it also enables you to play Rod of the Steward and Gondorian Fire. I really like Kahliel’s Tribesman because he gives you a lot of versatility with his ability. This is especially useful when questing blind before you get Firyal, my favorite ally in the game, out. Your Hauberk of Mail is there for Jubayr.

As of right now the card I am most on the fence about is Haradrim Spear. I think it could potentially be cut, but it does help Kahliel become a more effect attacker since he will often be readied. If you have any suggestions on the deck I would love to hear them.

For even more resources you can consider Captain's Wisdom. Raiment of War can also be quite good to boost Jubayr (exchange it with one copy of Hauberk of Mail)

@Alonewolf87I feel like resource generation is ok at the moment, but captain's wisdom has some good synergy with Kahliel. I like the Rainment of War suggestion and probably will exchange it

I mentioned Captain's Wisdom mainly because it can be key to playing one of the three big harad allies in turn 1 (with the contract readying Kahliel again and giving the other 2 resources).

Also Heir of Mardil can be useful so that you can still ready Kahliel while using the other 2 benefits of the contract (and if Strider is in your starting hand it can be another attachment to go fish with the contract).

As a weapon Dagger of Westernesse could be a better choice than Haradrim Spear, but if you don't want to waste the off-sphere card you got each round the new Leadership Sword spoiled from Under the Ash Mountains could be a useful weapon for him.

How do you handle locations stake in the staging area ?

@RegisFI haven't really had a lot of problems with location lock. I usually have pretty good willpower, so I'm able to just grind through locations or leave them in the staging area if they are particularly nasty. After getting Firyal out you should have more control on what cards are being added anyways.
