Truck 1416

Behold, my latest deviation! Grey Wanderer Dáin! I made this Dwarf swarm originally for Battle for The Beacon, but it crushed it so bad that I took it out against 16 different quests, and it emerged victorious (17 quests if you count my failed attempt against Cirith Gurat, which it almost beat, but overall stage 3 was too devastating, and I couldn't recover from my huge attachment loss).

Here's the gameplay:

Search for Strider with the contract, but if you draw it in your starting hand search for Legacy of Durin, which really helps with card draw (only card draw in the deck except for Gandalf). It's good if you cand get 2x Ring Mail on Dáin, , but if you draw Celebrían's Stone, go for 1x Ring Mail and 1x Celebrían's Stone. Try to swarm allies, losing Strider's doesn't matter much, a single copy of Erebor Record Keeper, and a few other allies, can make up for the lost .

Here a some staples:

Strider (duh): It makes Dáin Ironfoot quest for 4 right out of the gate(s of Erebor), and adds 2 even with 5 or more characters.

Timely Aid: Really powerful round one. Helped a ton.

Gimli: He is a great card, really useful, especially with Dáin's extra and

Lure of Moria: Dwarf swarm + Lure of Moria = Epic

Dwarven Sellsword: Really powerful, even with maintaining cost.

Steward of Gondor/Resourceful: Really powerful (obviously) helps to keep that pesky sellsword in.

Erebor Battle Master: Powerful attacker. 2x in play is O.P.

Here are some random quests I played the deck against, and how many tries until a win:

Battle for the Beacon, 1 try.

Mount Doom, 1 try

Journey to the Cross-roads, 1 try

Encounter at Amon-Dîn, 1 try

The Blood of Gondor, 1 try

The Ghost of Framsburg, 5 tries (Ever think that Moonlit Passage would be a game-ending shadow!? Twice?)

Challenge of the Wainriders, 3 tries

Easiest quest ever, 1 try

Danger in Dorwinion, 1 try

Foundations of Stone, 1 try

The Hunt for the Dreadnaught (Normal Mode), 1 try

Mount Gundabad, 1 try

Fire in the Night, 1 try

A Storm on Cobas Haven, 2 tries

The Dread Realm, 2 tries

Escape from Umbar, 1 try

Not the hardest of quests, I did not try Carn-Dûm, which I have been trying my decks on, I don't think I could get past Battle questing, but this deck is quite efficient, and is very powerful, and worked as expected. I have not tried it in a fellowship yet, that should be fun.

This deck just so happens to be my 100th deck published, and just like my 1st and 50th, it's a dwarf deck. Dwarves are epic!

Postscript: Sorry no King Under the Mountain... Not in my card pool...

Great deck, wow! If you could, would you use King Under the Mountain, and what cards would you swap out for it?

@Taudir, Thanks! If I had King Under the Mountain I would definitely use it. I don't know if I'd swap it for if anything. This deck is already 3 cards over 50, and up to 3 extra cards probably won't hurt especially if the added cards are card draw related. If you wanted to get down to 50 and add 3x King Under the Mountain I'd cut these cards:

War Axe 2x

Nori 1x

Ever Vigilant 2x

Longbeard Orc Slayer x1
