This is a Gondor-focused mono tactics deck for handling the combat for a couple players' worth of enemies. The goal of the deck is to engage as many enemies as possible using standard engagement (the deck's high threat) as well as the effects of Westfold Outrider and Knight of Minas Tirith to accelerate Mablung's resource gain.

Mulligan for Gondorian Shield for Beregond and/or Warrior Sword for Boromir.

You can obviously handle defense with Beregond and various allies, but the deck also features plenty of cancellation. Remember to spend resources from Mablung first so that you can play Thicket of Spears when necessary. Gondorian Discipline can let you take a weak attack undefended or let Boromir defend in a pinch. I don't own Honour Guard but he would be a good fit here too.

As for attacking, Boromir along with just one or two allies should be able to clear 3 moderate enemies per round using Warrior Sword, his ability, and Rohan Warhorse.

For quests where location lock is a threat and combat is lessened, I typically switch out 1X Shield, 1X Discipline, and one of the 3-cost allies for the cards in the sideboard.

This is a deck I've been working through the Against the Shadow cycle with along with a Mono-Lore deck for threat reduction, healing, and additional card draw. This deck is definitely weak in those areas.

Wait no Longer is another card that triggers mablung in the questphase and helps reduce staging.
