This a pure solo deck with Ents (yes, again!) that can beat Conflict at the Carrock nightmare mode.
And it is fun to play!
Opening hand : any side quest or Dúnedain Message, because the strategy here is to play side quests to prepare your army for the trolls.
During game : Denethor gets the Gondorian Shield and a few Armored Destrier, making a quite capable defender!
Steward of Gondor goes on Aragorn.
Tips : I quested only with Éowyn the first few rounds, but when you're almost done with quest card 1B, you reset your threat with Aragorn so you don't have to deal with all the trolls during the same turn.
Think this is cheating? You can replace all the side quest cards with Sneak Attack, one more Gandalf and whatever else makes you happy! And be prepared to lose...
