You can play it 1. round save thx to Bombur, who let you start with 5 dwarves so, Thorin Oakenshield get a second res and you have 5 overall! At best you draw a Zigil Miner + Imladris Stargazer and improve more this round. other benefits of Lay of the Nauglamír:

It could also be fun to use Helm of Secrecy to switch Bombur for Ori in the late game.

@thalin, its a) a bit nostalig, b) perhaps i want to use it at black gate an there he could be very helfull c) he is a better defender as stonehelm, specially with Raiment of War

with the Bond of Friendship contract yes.

but be aware, the contract has some limits. (1 hero rom each sphere only max 2 copies of each card, and exactly 10 cards of each sphere an exactly 50 cards)
