This is part of my "cycle progression" playthrough, where I get access to all of the cards from a cycle at once, in addition to the prior cycles. For the Against the Shadows (AtS) cycle, that includes the core (Core), Shadows of Mirkwood (SoM), Khazad-dum (KD), and The Hobbit (TH).
The plan here was to counter the encounter deck's resource hate through several avenues:
1) Dwarven mining with Zigil Miner, Imladris Stargazer, and Hidden Cache.
2) Glóin with Citadel Plate, and Warden of Healing to reset.
3) The old classic Steward of Gondor.
Narvi's Belt is required to play the off-sphere and cards, so there's a few avenues for card draw like Legacy of Durin, King Under the Mountain, and Daeron's Runes to get this in your hand quickly if you don't start with it. With all this card draw and the discard from mining, you're probably going to run out of cards, hence Will of the West.
Dáin Ironfoot with his pack of dwarves, accelerated with A Very Good Tale, should have enough and to get you through the first two quest stages with Glóin taking undefended attacks or Dáin Ironfoot defending. Once you get to the third stage, you should have enough bodies on the table to kill Drû-buri-Drû fairly quickly then take his boost to power through seige questing.
Playing solo, archery damage isn't too bad, especially with your hit point enhanced dwarves from Hardy Leadership, but you've got 3x Warden of Healing to keep things in control. This also works to heal Glóin back up.
The deck has a lot of "one of" cards, but with heavy card draw, recycling with Will of the West and attachment fetching from Erebor Hammersmith it works.
