(Not for solo, probably.)

Another deck derived from 13nrv's aggro Noldor original. This one arose out of a desire to tech against some quest (I don't remember which specific one) where Revealed in Wrath recursion could be super-useful. To that end, we slot in one of the most understatedly broken heroes in the game, Háma.

Once you have him, it's hard to resist including Feint and Foe-hammer, the latter of which requires a Weapon. The Dagger is standard. (Spear of the Mark is not being used to its full potential here, what with the lack of staging-area attack, so some Blades of Gondolin might be the better choice in many quests.) Raiment of War makes little sense on Hama except to activate Foe-hammer as early as possible, but there are several Warrior targets in the ally mix here. Most notably, it turns Glorfindel into a 3/4/2/6 powerhouse who can use all of his stats in one round if necessary. And a Guardian with a Raiment is a heck of a stalwart defender.

Because it lacks Steward of Gondor, the deck is much more starved for resources than the original, so you really need To the Sea, to the Sea!: after it's in play, the only card that costs more than 1 raw resource is a Raiment. The Rivendell Minstrel serves as an emergency virtual 4th copy, as well as a cute way of instantly fishing out a spare copy for more discarding fuel.

The resource crunch does hamstring Elven-light a little, but Foe-hammer recursion generally makes up for it—for those who haven't experienced it, consider this dream scenario:

  • declare an attack with Háma
  • recall a Foe-hammer into your hand for an Elven-light
  • kill the enemy
  • play the Foe-hammer
  • play a 2nd Foe-hammer already in your hand
  • play that Elven-light you discarded

It happens more than you think. Sprinkle in some Glorfindel-readying in there for even more absurdity.
