The Watcher in the Water - SOLO PROGRESSION by Monty Ratarse 1.0

This deck is built to do the Observer in the Water scene, and to exploit the couple of brothers, Elrohir and Elladan. In order to work against the striking Tentacle (which could make an unopposed attack), we also need to use Frodo Baggins, perfect to absorb those shots that would send the brothers to the carpet.

The deck requires in the initial cards of Unexpected Courage and something like Steward of Gondor or Song of Travelin order to play the remarkable cards in the deck.

all the cards are very low cost to take advantage of the strength of the two brothers to repeat the defense and attack several times during the turn. Dúnedain Warning should be used for Elrohir, with the help of Arwen Undómiel if possible, so it is able to block anyone. I put the first Unexpected Courage on him too, for questing with Frodo. After Arwen can do a hand for questing.

Important is to overcome the first scene with a clean field, without any enemies, or places. You could think of inserting Valiant Sacrifice to draw further and not rely only on Ancient Mathom, but I have difficulty on what to remove from the deck (unless insert them and get to 53 cards, so are cards that are used to drar more).

Shadow of the Pastis there because it will serve to overcome the Durin's Gate (note I inserted for Italian friends, Dwarven Tomb that has in common the T with the Italian tentacles) I prefer Valiant Sacriface to it for English friends.

I passed the scenario with the following scores three times in succession: 117-114-108.

Questo mazzo è costruito per affrontare al meglio lo scenario dell'Osservatore nell'Acqua, e per poter sfruttare la coppia di fratelli, Elrohir e Elladan. Per poter funzionare contro il Tentacolo che colpisce (che potrebbe fare un attacco incontrastato), abbiamo bisogno di utilizzare anche Frodo Baggins, perfetto per assorbire quei colpi che manderebbero i fratelli al tappeto.

Il mazzo necessita nelle carte iniziali di Unexpected Courage e qualcosa come Steward of Gondor o Song of Travel per poter poi giocare le notevoli carte presenti nel mazzo. Solitamente posiziono Unexpected Courage su Elrohir, per la fase di ricerca insieme a Frodo. Successivamente Arwen può dare una mano nella ricerca.

tutte le carte sono di costo molto basso per sfruttare anche la forza dei due fratelli di ripetere la difesa e l'attacco più volte durante il turno. Dúnedain Warning va usato per Elrohir, con l'aiuto di Arwen Undómiel se possibile, così è in grado di bloccare chiunque.

Importante è superare la prima scena con un campo pulito, senza nessun nemico, nè luoghi. Si potrebbe pensare di inserire Valiant Sacrifice per pescare ulteriormente e non affidarsi al solo Ancient Mathom, ma ho difficoltà su cosa togliere dal mazzo per far posto a loro (a meno di inserirle ed arrivare a 53 carte, tanto sono carte che servono per pescare).

Shadow of the Past è lì perchè servirà per superare la Porta di Durin ( ndr ho inserito per gli amici italiani, la Dwarven Tomb che ha in comune la T con i Tentacoli italiani).

Ho superato per tre volte di seguito lo scenario con i seguenti punteggi: 117-114-108.
