Thematic Mount Doom

A pair of decks that can be used to beat Mount Doom on Easy Mode in 5 rounds with a somewhat thematic grouping of characters - Sam, FFG created heroes, and Galadriel, Arwen and Rosie providing inspiration, which is all they did in our playthrough anyway. (We won this in Saga, but I can imagine it would work pretty similar without Noble Hero and Ho! Tom Bombadil!)

The strategy is pretty straightforward. You really want Nenya and at least one Fast Hitch in your opening hands. Rosie Cotton is clutch as well. First round you have to clear Gather Information and use it to grab Master of the Forge to get you more attachments, and Unexpected Courage to help Argalad with Fortitude tests, since getting multiple of those can cripple the combat deck.

The decks also use pretty much all the better readying effects and willpower boosts available, which is almost not enough, and you will probably use all of them. The way we did it was with one Unexpected Courage on both Argalad and Na'asiyah, one Fast Hitch apiece on both Sam and Rosie.

Light of Valinor also goes on Argalad, so he can quest with his and his ability. Steward of Gondor and one Song of Hope go on Na'asiyah, so she can do an emergency Fortitude test and have a chance of passing it.
