kattattack22 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Three Hobbit Treasure Hunters for Antlered Crown

**See Version 6 for refined version of this deck.

https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/14730/threehobbittreasurehuntersforantleredcrown-6.0 **

This is a solo Hobbit Three Hunters deck modified for The Antlered Crown. All the card draw has been taken out. Protector of Lórien, Hobbit-sense, and Ranger Spikes are in based on suggestions from Vision of the Palantir. Gondorian Shield replaced with Ring mail mainly for the extra HP. Extra Blade of Gondolin in for more location control and discard fodder for protector.

Early on Sam will be the main on to load up with the combat attachments as he will be the primary attacker and defender. After him Bilbo should get the defensive ones and Pippin the offensive offensive ones. This should split the restricted attachments enough to flip the contract in mid to late game.

Usually everyone one of the heroes will quest and be counting on Sam's built in readying for defense or an early Fast Hitch. Be sure to spread out the Fast Hitches. This let's everyone quest and get them all ready for combat later. Try to engage and kill only one enemy a round. Bilbo's ability basically negates the threat of one enemy in the staging area and hopefully damages them.

The guarded attachments should only be played when the staging area is relatively clear. Sting and Necklace of Girion are the best 2 to prioritize.

Steward should go on either Pippin or Sam. It really depends on your hand as we want to play Ranger Spikes or Dúnedain Quest as early as possible to help with questing.

Willpower boosts should go on Bilbo as we'll want to quest with him all the time anyway.

Pippin unfortunately is mostly here for increasing engagement costs and his card draw. If you can get him a couple weapons and flip the contract the willpower boost is substantial.

This deck can easily get overwhelmed early so not the best for quests with lots surge or early onslaught of enemies.

You might consider dropping some less useful cards for Open the Armory to get your contract completed faster. Also, how come no The One Ring?

@Seastanthe previous version of the deck did have Open the Armory. It was taken out with all the other card draw. I was expecting The Antlered Crown to force me to draw a lot more cards.

No The One Ring because I don't own A Shadow in the East yet. I could proxy it, but I like the constraint of deckbuilding with only cards I own.

Unfortunately, the store where I picked up a large chunk of packs I was missing only had The City of Ulfast and Challenge of the Wainriders from the new cycle. :(

Also no The One Ring because the earlier version used Expert Treasure-hunter to load up on attachments blindly. I'm tempted to put that back in because the forced card draw in The Antlered Crown wasn't as bad as I anticipated. The deck cost curve is low enough I could play most cards or pitch them to protector without much trouble.
