Basic idea is use Lore Bilbo, Misntrels, and Drinking Song to get Steward of Gondor and Resourcefuls on Bilbo early. The minstrels are very important here since Song of Kings needs to be on Bilbo to play Steward.
Then get the rest of the Songs and Fireside Song in place. Then use Helm of Secrecy to switch in Tactics Bilbo to get Guarded attachments into play especially with using Marnier's Compass to peel off locations.
Blood of Numenor plus Burning Brand for nearly fool proof defense. Rosie helps adds some additional attack most of the time. Bill also can also help a little with attacking usually. His HP boost as always is very helpful.
It's a really slow deck but fun!

Jun 15, 2020Sorry but you can't play Steward of Gondor with the ability of The Grey Wanderer because it only works on non-unique cards, so I am afraid you need Song of Kings in play. And I don't think you can choose Tactics Bilbo Baggins with Helm of Secrecy because you need to choose a different hero. I don't think there is an official ruling about that yet, but in this game different often means a card with another title. |

Helm just says another non-Fellowship or non-Baggins hero of equal or lower threat. I take this to mean a different hero card. I think it would be very limiting to interpret it as a different hero by name. |

Jun 15, 2020Thanks I am glad you like it! Give it a try and tell me what you think! I also have a Hobbit version with Bilbo Baggins. I really like him as a hero and I find your concept of Grey Wanderer Bilbo very interesting ;) |
