Part of a series of decks built around Bond of Friendship.
Ents are slow. They benefit greatly if you can provide them with some strong early game tools to give them time to come online. And what better way to give yourself a strong early game than with an extra hero?
This deck makes ents feel fast. I was able to beat Escape From Umbar in 3 rounds, and if I had been a little luckier, it would have been 2.
Mulligan for Treebeard. The 4th hero allows you to play him turn 1, and he can be used as a powerful defender right away thanks to Faramir.
Then once you've got Narya and a couple more ents down, your combat should be pretty much solved.
Your starting threat is pretty high, but there's a ton of threat reduction here: Gandalf (with Sneak Attack), Double Back, Galadriel's Handmaiden, Favor of the Valar, Elrond's Counsel, and The Galadhrim's Greeting. So you should even be able to trigger Eowyn if you need to.
Possible substitution: Gondorian Shield for Boomed and Trumpeted. But with the 2x restriction impacting the effectiveness of Entmoot, I wanted to keep in as many ent cards as possible.

Jul 09, 2020Awesome! Questing for 12 off the bat is also epic, great deck and I’m loving the final contract |
Jul 10, 2020nice kombination, combine ents with narya and faramir in addition with bifur its possible to get out a lore ent nearly every round also a tactic-hero. something only 4 heroes-setup can make. |
Jul 12, 2020Would you really prefer Daeron's Runes over something repeatable like Gleowine here? |

For additional threat reduction you could remove one copy of each unique red ent and add two copies of Secret Vigil.
