-In the opening hand you want Narvi's Belt and Steward of Gondor. Give preference to Steward of Gondor.
-These two cards you should put on Thorin Oakenshield, in that way he can spend his resourses on Erebor Battle Master and other allies.
-Rod of the Steward and King Under the Mountain helps with card draw
-Nori helps with threat control, so you should always put many allies as possible. If you have a lot of resouces (very common) you can pay for Bofur every round to low your threat by one
