Forth, The Grey Company!
A thematic Three Hunters deck focusing on part of the Grey Company. I think Elladan and Elrohir suit Forth, The Three Hunters! very well for two reasons:
- Three Hunters decks tend to fizzle out once they've played all their attachments, leaving your heroes' resources to pile up. Elladan and Elrohir allow you to continue spending your resources to trigger their innate abilities once you're all set up.
- Action advantage is huge in Three Hunters deck, because of obvious reasons. Both Elladan and Elrohir can ready themselves multiple times a turn as long as you have the resources to pay for it, allowing you to get maximum value out of their attachments.
Proud Hunters is perfect here as it allows you to get a burst of resources on Elladan (or in some cases Elrohir), which gives you a buffer for his readying ability.
I already mentioned how important readying is in Three Hunters decks. Steed of the North can go on any of your heroes to allow for flexible readying. Not only does it allow some of your heroes to quest and still be ready during the combat phase, but it also synergizes extremely well with Aragorn's ability. Rohan Warhorse and Armored Destrier fulfill similar roles.
In total, the deck includes 28 restricted attachments, which is a good spot for many Three Hunters deck to be in. If you feel this is not enough, you could include Open the Armory to fetch more restricted attachments, or put in cards like Sword of NĂºmenor, Warrior Sword, etc.
