This deck can get the complete set of Thorin's Company in play at once. I was excited when I discovered this but it has been done before. Of course... The idea is to use Helm of Secrecy to swap out the Tactics hero of a Bond of Friendship deck for Balin since Thorin and Balin both have to be present in their Leadership forms to complete the Company.

This deck is remarkable bad at defending so watch out. Dwalin with Ring Mail and Boots from Erebor is your best option and that's not great. The first two turns are also very slow as you can't really play an ally until turn 3. I'm not sure it can beat much more than the easiest quests.

Dori is probably a better choice than Thorin Stonehelm for the initial Tactics hero but I went for Thorin because he was 1 point less threat. But Dori would be much better for defending during the first turns of the game.

If you survive until you've emptied your deck you can start recycling Gandalf with Nori every turn (that you can kill an enemy) which is pretty awesome.
