An earlier version of this deck had Bilbo getting resources from Steward of Gondor. It was pointed out that is not legal. Oops. This rework addresses that.

The goal with the deck is to rush the first stage. Instead of getting a lot of allies out and then having Bilbo spend time reviving them, the goal is to survive the early part of the third stage as heroes are revived and the board state can be built up. Once two allies are down on the board, so you control the magical number of 5 Dwarves, it's time to complete quest stage 1b and move to quest stage 3.

Steward of Gondor goes on Nori to help ensure there are enough resources to cancel treacheries and shadow effects. Nori will gain more resources than he can spend (typicall), so put Narvi's Belt on him for resource smoothing. Thorin Oakenshield will generate two resources on his own once your Dwarven allies have showed up; that should be sufficient.

Wounds turned out to be an issue, so a couple of Lore of Imladris are in the deck to rescue characters close to death.

Use Gandalf for threat reduction; you need to manage when you engage the spiders. Ancient Mathom and Ori can draw sufficient cards.

Poison cards are condition attachments so Miner of the Iron Hills can remove them. Erebor Hammersmith is around in case the discarded card turns out to be an attachment.

Lure of Moria is great late game for a massive quest push and then readying the Dwarves to handle any potential combat that comes up.

Possible Changes

I don't tend to fire Durin's Song very often. You might want to drop it to put in a 3rd copy of Ancient Matham and Narvi's belt to increase the odds of drawing them.
