Aug 30, 2021aaaaaand, with a dwarf and legolas you can include Unlikely Friendship what is a very thematic and good card ;) it gives also more options for We Are Not Idle (but exhausting gimli for a res... mostly not worth it, but perhaps to flip contract a round earlier...could help) |
Aug 30, 2021Thanks for the feedback. I wanted boromir for the readying and primary defender for both sides. I tried gimli initially and I wasn’t able to defend all of the enemies. |
Aug 30, 2021o.k. then, what about Gondorian Fire ? pile some res on boromir should not be so hard. i can imagine, if reducing the hp of the balrog it will be less hard. |

with Gimli instead of boromir you will perhaps gain more punch to attack the balrog better (specially if you include Khazâd! Khazâd! and Heavy Stroke
except the horses and healers nice thematic deck ;)
