Was kicking around a Gondor-themed BoF concept when I saw that Gondor has a couple of allies that care about traps, and decided to merge the two themes.
Disclaimer: I ain't playtested this yet.
You can't have full playsets in Bond decks, so you want card-draw for consistency. Enter Damrod. Disable enemies at a discount and draw cards for it? Sign me up! "But ApparentlyAlvin", you say, "Your trap-synergy allies are expensive, and you only have the one green hero!" Ah, you've fallen for the classic blunder of assuming that we are paying for allies with resources. Anborn can be played by Prince Imrahil for a single resource. If you draw Anborn instead, Denethor and A Good Harvest can resource-fix to let you play him. Faramir is great to play off of LothÃriel (to make questing easier) or Prince Imrahil (after enemies have made their attacks, or if the enemy is going to die anyway).
The most important piece of this deck is bullying your friend into running a deck that globally buffs Gondor characters.
