Guaranteed^ to beat Return to Mirkwood, this team are better jailors than the Mirkwood Elves (who infamously let Golum escape them once). I'm looking for Escort from Edoras or Light of Valinor in my opening hand. Arwen Undómiel and West Road Traveller are cheap 2-Willpower allies to get you moving quickly. Escort from Edoras and Snowbourn Scout are effective readying for Prince Imrahil. With Escort from Edoras in your opening hand, you can easily quest through stage 1 on your opening turn. Stand and Fight is mostly in there to bring back Escort from Edoras.
