Just took this for a spin against Intruders in Chetwood. Took me two practice runs to get a feel for the deck and the strategy required, but the third attempt was successful. This is one of my favorite "simple" quests, as it has relatively few unique mechanics and does not feel fiddly like some, but I usually go the "smash the orcs" route, so it was a fun (and tense when Iaron got captured!) puzzle figuring out how to get to 30 on the quest without combat. Happy to report that not a single attack was made! All credit for this goes to Firyal, Ranger Spikes, Fatty, Forest Snare, and our all-star MVP, Gaffer Gamgee. Thanks for the great deck and writeup!

Yes, Intruders in Chetwood is one of the scenarios I had in mind when I built this deck. Thanks for the report, and I'm glad that it worked well for you.

I did notice low early willpower was an issue. To help with early rounds, I might drop Put Off Pursuit (adds to the willpower issue) and 1x Woodland Sentry or 1x Gather Information (also both slow) and add 3x Risk Some Light to help plan out exactly what will come off the deck and also hopefully help Out of the Wild hit the right thing.

Risk Some Light is a good suggestion. I definitely used the sideboard in my various tests. Early willpower is hard to come by in Lore, unless you go with Ents. I should have splashed a copy of Quickbeam in, I was trying to stay with a theme but this deck can run into trouble if your first two turns are unlucky.

Maybe Robin Smallburrow then? Stretching theme a bit could also add Mablung, who also has strong synergy.

mablung rarely stretch theme, there are gondor-rangers allready in the mix.

so with 3 2-wp allies this should work a bit smoother (#quickbeam, robin and mablung. perhaps ghan-buri-gahn is also an option
