DECK NAME - Emergency Medical Tacticians
OVERVIEW - After some difficult quests in the Against the Shadow cycle, this quest is a welcome cakewalk. Might as well rage quest and destroy it using an Outlands deck.
HEROES
- Beravor - draw draw draw
- Glorfindel - attach Asfaloth and Light of Valinor
- Hirluin the Fair - attach Steward of Gondor
STRATEGY
- OPENING HAND - Light of Valinor, Elrond's Counsel, or Steward of Gondor
- STAGE 1 - keep your under 25 and you won't have to engage any enemies
- STAGE 2 - Gandalf bomb Ghulat in the staging area
- OUTLANDS - use Hirluin and Steward of Gondor to pay for Outlands allies Beravor draws into hand; always use Hunter of Lamedon's response and A Very Good Tale when you can exhaust 2-cost allies at minimum
- THREAT REDUCTION - 3X Elrond's Counsel; Gandalf in a pinch
- CARD DRAW - Beravor, Hunter of Lamedon, A Very Good Tale, Daeron's Runes and possibly Gandalf
- Gandalf - use his combat ability rather than threat reduction; Sneak Attack him in to kill Ghulat
- Asfaloth - can help bypass travel effects and insure no location lock
- Honestly, this deck is super straightforward and overpowered for this quest. Enjoy!
