BlackArrow 315

BlackArrow has a newer deck inspired by this one: OP Combo

Finally Beat Flight pf the Stormcaller using this deck!!! It was an absolute beast. I ended up questing past Stage 3 in one round, passing the Stormcaller who was also on Stage 3.

Piloting: The Chemistry of this Deck is very simple, but extremely effective: Get Vilya on Elrond on round 1, if possible, and use this OP combination to pump out the best allies in the game. The only drawback to the Elrond-Vilya combination is the fact that you need to be able to see the top card of your deck, but this is already available thanks to Gandalf. Imladris Stargazer is still a fantastic card, because she allows you to re-order the top 5 cards of your deck, which's you can pick and chose which cards you want to play for 0 cost with Elrond. Wizard Pipe is another clutch card in this deck, because you can put a card in your hand right on top of your deck, allowing you even more flexibility and options.

Ideal Opening Hand: Vilya is the one key card that you need to have in your opening hand. Its that important. Word of Command is another card to look for early on, because you can fetch Vilya if you don't have it. Wizard Pipe is another card you want to see, because then you can play any big allies you get in your hand using Vilya. The Big Three (Firyal, Jubayr, and Yazan) are probably the best allies in here, but Beorn, Glorfindel, Soldier of Erebor, and Faramir are very good as well. Narya will also be nice to see early on, because it gives you more action potential. Also, since this deck has a bit of a hight starting threat, The Galadhrim's Greetingwould be nice. So here's what my idea hand looks like:

Vilya Jubayr Faramir Narya Wizard Pipe The Galadhrim's Greeting

Questing: Eowyn is the star for questing here, but Gandalf is also very good, and so is Elrond (Provided you get an Unexpected Courage on him). Faramir will help you make huge pushes in questing, and Firyal will be very strong as a quester, with some much-appreciated scrying as well. Another great card is The Free Peoples. Not only does it provide readying across the board, it also gives all your character +1 . Getting to nine traits should be pretty easy, with all the diversity in your allies.

Combat: Here's where we get to the fun part. This deck rocks at combat, and it mostly falls top the allies. Gandalf is great at-well, everything, and Flame of Anor allows him to be a wrecking machine (Most of the cards in this deck are very expensive, so that helps tremendously). Eowyn also has her nuclear option on standby, and if you get a Rohan Warhorse on her (or Unexpected Courage, of course)> she can take out two big enemies in one round! It is absolutely insane. Narya is clutch in combat as well. Being able to ready 2 big allies and give them each boosts to their and is phenomenal. You will literally mow down the strongest enemies and face swarms o them. This action potential was what allowed me to deal with the Boarding keyword in Flight of the Stormcaller, and still come up swinging.

Summary: This combo is truly OP. Within a few round, provided you have Vilya and some other three cards, you will have expensive, powerful allies on the board, and you will asking yourself how the heck this happened, because it really is surreal. But that's the power of Vilya, the Ring of Air, mightiest of The Three.
