Fastred and DĂșnhere are back with a vengeance... and a dwarven friend. Rather than just parrying weak enemies back to the staging area for DĂșnhere to kill, Fastred can now parry big enemies with some help from Dori and maybe from an Honour Guard too. Mid to late game, with both Dori and Fastred equipped with Unexpected Courage, you can parry a big enemy back to the staging area for DĂșnhere to hit, then defend against a smaller one with Fastred and have Dori kill it in one hit with a Dwarven Axe or two. It is critical to have either a Galadriel's Handmaiden or a West Road Traveller in your starting hand to avoid getting location-locked very early, and also not to start running the Zigil Miner engine before you have established a good-sized questing army on the table. Mid to late game you can use Longbeard Sentry for defending, and have Dori and Fastred help with questing. Steed of Imladris makes good use of Hidden Cache cards in your hand and Dwarf Pipe might increase your chances of recovering your best cards in long adventures, but they also serve as good fodder for shadow cards that make you discard attachments.
