I'm going to try this against Annuminas at a fellowship event tomorrow. How did you get on with it? What should I be looking for in my first hand?

I cant tell you how it is with Annuminas, because we still did not play it (the german kit has not arrived at the store yet). I think with the updated cardpool I would also consider Ghân-buri-Ghân and maybe also Mirkwood Explorer for Annuminas to avoid the nasty travel effects. However, in general it is a bit slow, so it might be good to play on a table with some fast decks. I would aim for Treebeard in Setup. If your fellow players can spare you a ressource for Bifur and you can put Treebeard on the table in round one you have a decent start. Quickbeam is also a very good card for the start hand.
