Updated description for the current Version of this deck:
This is the most actual version of my classic approach to the Ent deck. In my oppinion, it is not important which heroes you use for this deck, as long as you have the right spheres. That is also the main reason why Elrond is included since he can pay for the allies as well. Of course he might be a problem threatwise, but his ability to boost healing power makes him almost an auto-include in any 4-player fellowship, so we might as well just play him in this deck, were his other ability can contribute best. Instead of explaining the rather obvious choices of an Ent deck I will make a few remarks on some cards that may seem odd in this deck. It has to be said that this deck in this Version is part of a 4-p fellowship.
Thurindir and Gather Information are the first cards that are added to support that fellowship. Since there are several key cards in the other decks, this is the best option to decrease variability and make those decks more stable, because it allows us to Play Gather Information first round and by passing that side quest (which is very likely) we are able to search for any missing key cards.
Because this deck plays 2 heroes, it has been given the additional task to take care of healing, which is why we included Warden of Healing, Galadhrim Healer and Lembas. Self Preservation has been moved to another deck because the ents are expensive enough. Together with DĂșnedain Remedy found in another deck this should be well enough healing power, especially in combination with the ability of Elrond.
The Long Defeat, Secret Vigil and Feint are just very good and cheap utility cards, especially in a 4-player group. The Long Defeat is obviously best played on a side quest in round 1 or 2.
Ent Draught and Wingfoot are meant to be played on characters included in the other decks of this fellowship.
