This is my edited version of https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/39493/whomdoyouservearagoooooorn-1.0.
I recently learned that The One Ring can't be transferred with Helm of Secrecy, auto-losing the game. So, the deck had to be majorly reworked, and after a few days of building and testing, this was the result.
There's a much bigger theme on Attachments now, with Master of the Forge being the main engine of finding them. Strider, Glamdring, and Magic Ring are excellent with Saruman, getting the most out of his powerful stat line. Stone of Elostirion goes on Gríma, providing extra willpower and card-draw, which never hurts. Protector of Lórien assists with doubled-up copies of cards.
A portion of the deck stays the same, with many powerful Doomed cards granting powerful effects (bonus of Gandalf!). Ents are still here, though they are not nearly as significant as they were in the first edition of the deck.
Notes:
- The most notable Doomed card that is missing is Legacy of Númenor, which isn't needed due to the cost reduction of Gríma.
- Defender of the West is here to help with defense, but if desired, players can sub it out for Sword-thain.
- I know this deck isn't the most efficient or powerful deck ever (it's not supposed to be), but it is fun and somewhat effective, having beaten Passage Through Mirkwood NM, Ambush at Erelas, Horse-Lord's Ire, and The River Running without too much trouble.
- For extra fun, try this deck in multiplayer :)
