Aim was to keep allies to a minimum to aid in hide tests during stage 2. Gandalf, Galadriel, and Elrond can all fire off their when played abilities, contribute to a test, but are then gone by the end of the round. Beorn and Riddermark Knight will both be discarded after attack boosts, which can help clear the black riders. Valiant Sacrifice helps to profit more off these allies being discarded and Sneak Attack can help get them on the board multiple times.
I didn't find myself playing Boromir or Bill the Pony very often, so would possibly look at replacing with an additional Sneak Attack if I were to refine in a future saga play through.
