A thematic deck based on what Aragorn's childhood in Rivendell might have been. Functionally this deck is leadership/lore/spirit, with a tanked out Aragorn and some allies. Aragorn maxes out at 6/4/3/9 with one or two readies and questing without exhaustion. The deck is a bit bloated, you could cut that down a bit if desired.
Heros are quite efficient here, with cards to avoid exhausting to quest and others to ready. Resource smoothing consists of spamming Steward of Gondor and having two heros that care little about spheres. You will likely need to rely on Vilya to get some of the Leadership cards into play.
Hero Elrohir can be added from the sideboard if needed, though the 35 starting threat may be an issue. Hero Arwen Undómiel is also available, bringing some resource smoothing and 33 starting threat. If either hero is pulled from the side board you can ditch Strider to cut down on the deck bloat.
Deck control is better than even the typical Vilya deck, as Estel synergies nicely with the occasional need to shuffle.
Healing is another theme of this deck, given that both Aragorn & Elrond are healers in the book. Use The Renewer to heal allies and Dúnedain Remedy for heros, do not forget Elrond's +1 healing.
Unfortunately there's no room in this deck for side questing fun. The Noldor card draw/discard cycle is also largely absent. Elrond's Vilya is useful for adding tactics and leadership to Aragorn, though not essential. More useful are his ally summoning and deck manipulating friends.
As usual, I have a sideboard that can be used to adjust the deck as needed. Athelas is included should nasty conditions be present in the quest deck.
