So, this one isn't nearly as optimized as my mono-Thalin deck for Passage Through Mirkwood, but was still some good, dumb, meme fun. I had an ode to Nate French, so I figured I might as well toss out a deck that is using the favorite heroes of two of my fellow CotR members.

In this deck, Haldir of Lórien is obviously the primary defender and will never use his ability, so we don't need to bother including weapons in the deck. WithWell Preserved and Dori+Relic of Nargothrond helping him with the Hill Troll since the deck needed to start at over 30 threat to have that silly thing provide sufficient challenge. Círdan the Shipwright helps us get up to the necessary starting threat to have to be forced to deal with defenses on the Troll right out of the gate, and then it's mostly just a smattering of cheap allies to get the necessary attack and defense to beat the quest from there.

Threat can be a little dicey since you have to keep using Well Preserved each round to keep Haldir's troll defending ways going, especially given all of the bad "35+ threat" effects in the encounter deck.

So, much like Passage, this deck isn't going to be able to successfully beat the quest every time, but allowing for Haldir and Dori to show their quality I think makes up for a few loses here and there.
