Wizenedstaff 31

This deck was my first build with the new Ered Mithrin hero expansion! I'd tried an Eagles deck with Gandalf before but with no real success. Radagast solves the problem! Threat reduction is a bit of an issue here, but in wins against Journey along the Anduin, Into the Pit and Foundations of Stone, I've only had dramatic high-threat wins rather than threating out so I'm not too worried! Having said that, you will want to look for Gandalf at some point for some threat reduction. Sneak Attack, Daeron's Runes and Gildor's ability should all help with that. The key attachment early on is Radagast's Staff, which can be dug out with Master of the Forge. There are fifteen creature allies in this deck, with twelve of them eagles. Meneldor supports Legolas's outside-the-quest-phase progress work and also fuels Eagles of the Misty Mountains. It is not difficult to see these guys get to six attack and defence, with Vassal of the Windlord and Winged Guardian usually the main source of fuel. Use The Eagles Are Coming!to dig out your eagles and remember Giant Bear also triggers Radagast's non-exhaust questing. He can do some defending early on, healing with Lembas and Healing Herbs as required, but you should soon be able to use Giant Bear or Eagles of the Misty Mountains as your primary defender. Faramir can be important in this build in pushing you over the line with those big questing numbers when needed.
