LOL: 57 cards - you crazy?! Nah, Ring and Daerons makes them effectively 52, which is quite fine for me with a deck that consistenly draws you 3 per turn.
So we finished Nightmare Angmar with my Arwen, Cirdan, Erestor. I wondered if I could can get the same amount of card-draw from the previous version(s) and came up with those heroes - drawing cards and gaining resources while not discarding at the end of the turn. However, being in 3 spheres, theres always a downside. In this case, restricted playability of cards. I wanted to circumvent this via Stand and Fight, which requires me to funnel "all" resources into Arwen. Fine by me. Errand-rider and Théodred can somewhat achieve this. This is the brew I came up with and it works quite good, even without Steward of Gondor.
Elven-light is the main engine to this deck, facilitating card-draw and therefore giving you options. Once your engine is online, the gameplan is pretty adaptive: you can focus on "spamming" allies, countering nasty "when revealed"-effects or whatever is in between. I left out the "counter Shadowcard" effects, since you can pretty much counter them with cards that your engine put online. However, feel free to include more of those over some allies you don't need.
This is still a deck which somewhat focuses on questing, while being able to tackle combat in the late-game, sheerly due to a massive board and chumpers. Now for the singleton in-/excludes I think that they're worth talking about:
Ceorl - Not really tested (like 100 matches) but I still imagine this this a deck that this card can shine.
Déorwine - Another [Jubayr] with more options and flexibility, given that we're not trying to actively use the -resources.
Elrond - Not quite sure about this card rn. Very versatile and cost-efficient, but might be a cut for more consistency.
Gimli - basically a 2 willpower untap with sentinel.
Glorfindel - same as Elrond, but very powerful late-game imo.
Greenwood Defender vs. Guardian of Rivendell: I am considering rn, which of those is better. Rivendell is better regarding casting cost. However, Defender excels when being reanimated - being able to chump up to 4-5 attacks via Stand and Fight. Further testing has to be conducted.
The One Ring + Well Preserved : Since there's pretty low threat anyway and we got Elrond's Counsel, the threat does not really matter and therefore, "Mono-Arwen" is a theme via Protector of Lórien. This ("always") could be a cut, but I like the theme without being afraid of downsides.
PS: the Sideboard is for me only, pondering about other cards. please neglect that.
