The BGamerJoe 5119

The BGamerJoe has a newer deck inspired by this one: Save the Villagers!

Hirgon is a blast! I was pretty sure he would be fun but now I'm sure he's good as well!

I've only played this in a multiplayer context but it sure pulled its weight. The heroes are awesome questers, able to contribute 11 willpower from turn one! Then you can respond to the enemy situation after staging and bring in a defender if needed, or a ranger attacker if that's better for the group.

Proud Hunters can be thrown in if you bring 3 copies of Yazan to fulfill the unique Ranger requirement.

Raiment of War goes well on Déorwine or Defender of Rammas and it enables Sterner than Steel.

Rohan still needs a decent weapon but Blade of Gondolin is good if you need extra progress, Dagger of Westernesse is better if there's no orcs and some of the enemies are high threat and you could always just use Spear of the Mark if you wanted to be thematic. But getting a weapon on Théoden is pretty important to set up Foe-hammer. If you are fortunate enough to get Song of Travel down and Herugrim out, remember not to trigger its effect if you want to use Foe-Hammer.

Hirgon gives new power to Marksman of Lórien which can now target an enemy after staging! Descendant of Thorondor and Galadhon Archer would also be useful for picking off weak enemies before the encounter phase.

I'm enjoying the new Mono Tactics possibilities and Hirgon is a game changer. Enjoy the deck and let me know what you would do different.
