This is a thematic deck for my blog series, Agents of the White Council, designed to go up against A Journey to Rhosgobel.
This deck provides a solid core of questing allies, in addition to a lot of allies with the Ranged keyword, to be able to defend against the various can't-be-attacked-or-defended-except-by-ranged-characters enemies in that quest. In addition, it handles most of the conventional defense as well, through the means of Gondorian Spearman and Spear of the Citadel, which can combine with Thalin to kill many of the enemies in the quest.
For enemies that can't be killed via that means, Eleanor, boosted by Arwen Undómiel and a Gondorian Shield and protected by Honour Guards, is sufficient for defense.
In addition, this deck provides a great deal of treachery cancellation, to avoid the incredibly punishing direct damage effects available in that quest.
The deck is weighted towards the allies, in order to take advantage of the ranged keyword. To help smooth out resources, The Storm Comes should be pulled after the companion deck helps to clear Gather Information in the early game.
