Dwarves and Elves go to Gen Con

BeowolfMN 116

Description

This fellowship was born out of an attempt to exploit table wide effects to their fullest.

Dáin Ironfoot and Celeborn are the obvious start of this. Both of them pumping everyone's characters.

A few other cards building on this: Silvan Tracker Hardy Leadership O Lórien! Deep Knowledge

Dain's deck provides questing, card draw, and threat management. Gimli's deck will deal with enemies both in attack and defense.

Ever My Heart Rises would be a good card to put a sideboard.

I would cut Bofur from one of the decks so you don't accidentally play two of a unique card.

Not a lot of room make changes and keep the dwarf/Silvan theme in both decks. If you want to do more than minor tweaks you could try something like moving Celeborn from the tactics deck and using him to replace Galadriel in the questing deck.

You could then put Óin in the tactics deck so that the fellowship would still be able to access key spirit cards like A Test of Will.

Swapping Galadriel for Celeborn would allow you to play with some more expensive leadership cards like Faramir without hurting you lore resources too much if you take advantage of Bifur's ability. It would also free up some card slots used on Nenya and can give you more flexibility in what you are looking for in your opening hand. It would make threat control more challenging but Ever My Heart Rises may help with that.
