Darkling Door 6141

Darkling Door has a newer deck inspired by this one: Friendship Long Forgotten

This is a thematic deck built for an ongoing series on my blog, Darkling Door.

Theme: Ancient friendship between Elves and Dwarves

Played Against: Nightmare Raid on the Grey Havens

“The words are in the elven-tongue of the West of Middle-earth in the Elder Days,” answered Gandalf. “But they do not say anything of importance to us. They say only: The Doors of Durin, Lord of Moria. Speak, friend, and enter. And underneath small and faint is written: I, Narvi, made them. Celebrimbor of Hollin drew these signs.”

The Fellowship of the Ring, A Journey in the Dark

Strategy

A powerhouse Dwarf / Noldor combo deck that focuses on getting the most out of some strong heroes.

your deck does not it the rules of Bond of Friendship (to much spirit, tactic and lore)

you have to reduce 3 spirit, 1 tactic 1 lore, i would take out:

would put in (need 4 neutral):

Oh wow, you're totally right! For some reason I thought it read "at least 10 cards" but it says "exactly". In that case I think I'd cut the two Stargazers and a copy of Light of Valinor, Asfaloth, and a Mithlond Sea Watcher.

2x Gandalf is a good call-out for a replacement card. I think I'd want another copy of Favor of the Valar. The last slot is tricky, I think I might try Open the Armoury.

I'll have to make the modifications and try the deck again!
