Wittebaard 85
Pairs best with an aggressive deck, preferably the Dúnedain Ranger deck.
- Main focus here is to get traps on enemies so the Dúnedain rangers can easily manage them and profit from them being weakened. A lot of questing will be made easier with cards like Ranger Spikes, Guarded Ceaselessly and Súlien
- Traps should be prioritised since they generate card draw and are often free with Damrod's effect.
Noticeable combos:
- Elf-stone to get Súlien for free (not a lot of Spirit resources in this deck).
- Erebor Hammersmith with every attachment in this deck, no-brainer.
- Henamarth Riversong and Wingfoot to always guess correctly so you can ready. Unexpected Courage can ready whoever, maybe even the other deck when needed.
- Readied heroes who have already quested or used their effects could also attack with Ranger Spear to help the other deck.
- Guarded Ceaselessly and Guardian of Ithilien since he has no function after entering play.
- Speaking of Guardian of Ithilien, he helps with attaching traps to enemies by returning him to the staging area. So does Fastred (to also reduce threat).
- Carddraw comes from Beravor, Damrod and Ancient Mathom.
- Staple cards like A Test of Will and Hasty Stroke to protect.
